HamCan 2026 in Hamburg: Small, personal – and therefore unforgettable

Two days in Hamburg, one booth, more great conversations than we could count: HamCan 2026 was one of the best trade fairs of the year for us – small, personal, and full of life. Here's our recap.

There are trade fairs where you come home with bags full of goods. And then there are trade fairs where you return with a full heart. HamCan 2026 in Hamburg clearly belonged to the second category for us.

01Two days of HamCan – small, personal, full of life

Do you know that feeling? Huge halls, crowded aisles, a program packed with events every minute. By evening your head is buzzing – and you've still missed half the conversations you wanted to have.

HamCan was different. Manageable rather than huge – and that was precisely its strength. Instead of hectic activity: time. Instead of anonymous crowds: faces you recognized again on the second day. Instead of a constant flow of people: genuine encounters.

Add to that music, art, action, and an atmosphere like a small festival. A cannabis fair doesn't have to be huge to leave a lasting impression.

02HIZEN at booth B26 – right in the thick of things, not just a bystander

Of course, we couldn't miss it. On both days, booth B26 was constantly busy: some people came specifically to finally see a particular piece of equipment in person. Others lingered because the engraving machine was running – or because people were discussing the optimal temperature next door.

This is precisely the mix that makes trade fairs so special for us: questions, opinions, honest feedback – and conversations that sometimes last an extra fifteen minutes.

03Vaporizer testing & engravings that last

Testing was in full swing again in Hamburg – from the HIZEN Convectum and the Stilus series to the compact HIZEN Nanu. How does the device feel in your hand? What does the vapor taste like? Which model is right for you? That's exactly what we're here for. Because no product page in the world can replace the moment you actually hold a vaporizer in your hand.

The second highlight at our booth was the engraving service. Name, saying, small design – a few minutes later, your device or grinder became a unique piece. Our engraving machine was busy both days, and several visitors left Hamburg with a one-of-a-kind item.

04More than just a cannabis fair: Graffiti, skaters & chill-out lounges

HamCan was far more than just a collection of exhibition stands. Cannabis culture, street culture, art and community came together here – and you could feel it everywhere you turned.

On one side, graffiti artists were creating new works on the stone walls right there on the spot. There's something special about watching a few lines transform into a complete piece between conversations. A little further on, skaters were landing their tricks – sometimes perfectly smooth, sometimes spectacularly botched, always to applause. And anyone needing a break could relax in one of the chill-out lounges and, over a drink, immediately strike up another conversation.

Add to that good music, good vibes and that relaxed festival feeling where strangers quickly become friends.

05Why the HamCan community will remain in our memory

When we think back to HamCan, we think first of the people. Of familiar faces who came by just to say hello. Of curious people who held a vaporizer for the first time. Of exhibitors with whom we had a coffee break. And of all the spontaneous conversations – about devices, about the scene, about everything under the sun.

Precisely because HamCan was smaller, there was room for these moments. No crowds, no time pressure. Time to listen and ask questions. The cannabis community in Hamburg impressed us with its openness – here, community wasn't just talked about, it was lived.

06Good people, good conversations, good vibes

What lingers? Not the booth size, not the visitor numbers. The atmosphere. The feeling of spending a weekend among people who share the same passion and treat each other with respect.

A successful trade fair doesn't need the biggest hall or the longest list of exhibitors. Sometimes, what it needs most are the right people, a relaxed atmosphere – and all the little moments in between. Hamburg had plenty of those.
