Shisha Fair Frankfurt 2026: Our Review | HEAT

Three days in Frankfurt, a small booth, an audience we hadn't encountered before: The Shisha Messe & Vapor Fair was our kickoff to the 2026 trade fair season – and the quietest event of the year. Here's our recap.

Not every trade fair is a public festival. Some are small and quiet. And yet still worthwhile. For us, Frankfurt clearly belonged in the second category.

01Small fair, dedicated hemp area

Shisha, tobacco products, vaping products: that's what the trade fair in Frankfurt is all about. The hemp section was small. But it was there. Two worlds that rarely meet otherwise stood a few meters apart.

For us, this was a test. How would a herbal vaporizer be received by an audience that was there for shisha and e-cigarettes? The answer came faster than expected.

02Not much going on. But real conversations.

Honestly, things were pretty quiet here. Nothing like Berlin, Hamburg, or Düsseldorf. But those who did come by stayed longer.

No waiting in line. No two-minute check-in. The team that develops the devices and repairs them in their own workshop was at the booth. At a small trade fair, you realize how valuable that is in conversation.

03The laser was running: engravings that will last.

Our main selling point was engraving. Your name, your initials, a short message. A grinder or vaporizer is transformed into a unique piece in just a few minutes – and you watch it happen.

That's a real draw. Anyone who initially just stood there politely was soon engaged in conversation while the laser was running. An engraved device is clearly yours afterward: it won't get mixed up with others on the table. And it's less likely to end up in a drawer.

04From e-vape to herbal vaporizer

The most frequent question of the weekend came from people who have long since switched to e-vaping. Vaping instead of lighting is everyday life for them. The only new thing was: the same principle also applies to herbs.

The difference in two sentences. An e-vape vaporizes liquid from a tank. A herbal vaporizer heats dried aromatic herbs in a chamber – at the temperature you set, without combustion, producing vapor instead of smoke.

05Conclusion: small, but informative

Frankfurt wasn't a record-breaking trade fair. Nevertheless, it was the perfect start for us: a new audience, time for every conversation, and a theme that accompanied us throughout the entire season.
