Bavarian cannabis clubs stopped – court ruling of August 21.08.2025, XNUMX

Bayreuth – With a groundbreaking decision, the Bayreuth Administrative Court on 21 August 2025 Urgent application from a cannabis cultivation association rejected. The use of a hall for the cultivation and distribution of consumer cannabis was prohibited.

The reasons

  • The hall was only approved for storage, not for cultivation or distribution.
  • Lack of infrastructure: no water or sewage connection.
  • Alterations such as recreation rooms and fences require a new building permit.

What does that mean?

The ruling is not yet legally binding, but it clearly shows that a permit alone is not enough – building regulations must also be met. This effectively blocks all clubs in Bavaria for the time being.

HIZEN statement

"Legalization is not a free pass – it must be implemented legally and sustainably. At HIZEN, we focus on quality, responsibility, and modern consumption methods."
