The European Union is preparing a significant step for the hemp industry: From 2027, industrial hemp flowers will be officially recognized as an agricultural product. The proposed THC limit for industrial hemp is currently typically ≤ 0,3% . However, higher limits (e.g., 0,5%), as required in some member states, are also under discussion.
